Just a little reminder as we head into the holidays: please don’t forget LC this year! We enjoy this place for all the fun swaps, inspirational craftalongs, and incredible inspirations. We have formed some lasting and amazing friendships. And we have done it cost-free. Please think about giving to show your support and love for this great community! Let’s keep this Craftalong going for years to come!
I received the coolest Halloween zine (which is super fun to say, too) from @endymion! Thank you so much! ![]()
@endymion
I finally remembered to post a picture of the cute stamp treatment you put on the front of the envelope! So clever ![]()
I cut it out for future scrappy use

Can’t take credit for that; I got the stamp from @irid3sc3nt in Shop the Swap last year. It was specifically designed to use with those Day of the Dead stamps. So cool! (And, may I add, perfect for mailing out Halloween zines!)
Glad everyone is enjoying receiving the zines. I had made them for Lettuce Craft friends and trick-or-treaters. But we barely got any trick-or-treaters, so I’m glad y’all were able to enjoy them.
I cut mine out to use later as well! So clever and cute!
Yay, thanks for the zine, @endymion ! ![]()
I also loved that!! It’s on my desk and makes me smile every time I look at it, usually during a boring meeting!!
Talk about stamps! @Cindy have you seen these lovelies?

I knew they were coming but haven’t seen them in real life.
There’s a Donald Sutherland stamp (most would know him from the Hunger Games) that I want to get too.
I remember him from Backdraft, (a quick check says 1991!!), he is good at playing creepy characters!
I loved him in the movie “Mash” and “Kelly’s Heroes”. He has quite the body of work to his credit!
Can we also mention Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ordinary People? He has performed in such a wide range of genres!
oh, I like all of them! the colors are beautiful!
It took a bit longer than I had anticipated but I’ve got most of my US/Canada Christmas cards written by now! I just kept adding people to my list. I’ve made so many different cards, it’s really fun to match cards to people.
Due to all sorts of health setbacks, I think the last batch of cards will be sent out this weekend! That’s the European cards and the last couple of international cards. But those would still be in time for Christmas hopefully. I haven’t heard from anyone receiving them yet though, so fingers crossed they’re not all on a boat that sank or whatever.
Traditionally, in my country, today is the first day you’re “allowed” to send out Christmas cards, as we celebrate St. Nick’s on December 5 first and it’s not considered the done thing to decorate or plan or write cards for Christmas before that day. I kind of break that rule though (although Mr. Imma does not allow any decoration in the house!) because St. Nick’s is mostly a children’s holiday and really a thing you celebrate with your close family. As we don’t have children in our family, we don’t celebrate it at all. And international mail can take ages so it’s best to get that sent out in November already.
sorry to hear of your health challenges!
best wishes for a peaceful year end & a blessed new year!
(I also hope your cards didn’t get lost in the mail – hopefully they are just delayed, or folks are busy with holiday prep & haven’t had a chance to post)
I absolutely don’t expect to hear back from everyone, and certainly not rightaway, but I am a bit surprised that I’ve not heard from anyone yet. I hope it’s just a minor delay and I’ll send out the rest soon.
I received from @madebyBeaG! Thank you for the postcard!!

Thank you for the postcard, @madebyBeaG! I totally wasn’t expecting it. It was a very cheery day for mail.
