Welcome, @wittychild and @Silky_Bee! I have added you both to the list of happy mailers above.
@Tapestry, what a beautiful postcard! You always do such beautiful combinations of colours.
The post finally came through, and I received a lovely package from @Edel with some bookbinding supplies to try, plus a lovely mixed media collage card:
Thank you so much Edel! I love the card and I look forward to trying out the supplies.

I received a lovely card and some gorgeous paper flowers last week but I forgot to post them! I had taken them to a Galentine’s lunch with one of my best friends to show her and forgot they were in my purse!
Thank you, @Tapestry …you are so thoughtful and seem to know when someone needs a little pick me up!
This morning on my way to work I rode past our mailbox after a few days of not checking it and I found this huge stack of mail, mostly junk mail but my mail delivery lady made sure these two were on top! Totally made my morning to get my very first LC happy mail!! Thank you @kayrun and @bluebird!!
I keep forgetting to come on here and thank @bluebird for the fantastic happy mail!
Really brought a smile to my face during a stressful time— I appreciate you!
P.S. Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorite themes! Esp the original version
I got this beautiful card from @tapestry in the mail today. It was a lovely suprise, she sent me one of her painted postcards, my favourite of a batch that I admired.
I haven’t posted much details about myself because life is a bit crazy at the moment and so I don’t want to let anyone down by not sending enough mail (I know that this isn’t reciprocal, but still…!)
Anyway, about me for anyone who doesn’t know me. I live in Ireland, and have been here since day zero and in the dead place for about 15 years before that. This is my crafty home and you guys are my crafty family. My favourite craft is always sewing, but I dabble in so many things. I have a weakness for buying art and craft supplies and then promptly forgetting to use them, but I figure they all come around eventually.
I’m currently doing a part time degree in art and so am trying to paint a bit more. I like experimenting, but unlike @photojenn I’m not great at the regular application of effort to a longer project.
Mail is a great thing to receive and I usually (eventually!) get around to sending a batch of happy mail.
I got some lovely happy mail from @bluebird a while back. I’m in the middle of a house purge in preparation for a basement demolition in a few months, so I won’t have a chance to post pictures, but I just wanted to acknowledge that it was really lovely to receive something nice in the post
Seen as the month’s already started, I’m going to go ahead without a poll this time. I’ll try to do better at remembering to post polls before the previous month ends.
The theme for March is “green.”
Feel free to use it as inspiration for your happy mail, or ignore it all together and do your own thing
