Holiday Flamingos, revised edition

You may (or may not) remember my Holiday Flamingos and their candy-cane scarves from last winter. Well, Halloween rolled around again (ok, yes, I’m a little late) and so clearly they needed new glamorous neckwear:

I think this is the first time I’ve done beaded knitting with threading the beads first, and amazingly enough the number of beads I had in the right colors came out just about perfectly. Yay for successfully winging it!

And here they were co-opted as bridesmaids in the wedding of Ms. Flamingo & Ms. Flamingo-Kangaroo, as organized by my 7yo and her bestie. (I…really could not tell you much more about this except that the cat is officiating… oh, and the skulls belong to their ancestors, who were invited despite being dead. I guess when you’re a skeletal flamingo then inviting the skulls of your ancestors is normal??)
