I would like to make at least 50 ATCs this year. Here are the ones I made in January.
I’m really happy with how this phoenix turned out. It was for someone’s “fantastical creatures” theme. This is the first time I’ve done watercolour completely by itself. I normally add details/outlines in alcohol marker.
I drew this scene from Totoro for someone’s “Stuido Ghibli” theme. This one is coloured pencils, alcohol markers, and crayons.
This one is for someone’s theme of “a map of something that isn’t a place.” So I drew "The Land of ADHD’ers. This one is all coloured pencils, alcohol markers, and water-based markers.
“DOOM” stands for “Did not Organize; Only Moved” which is not a thing I was aware most people with ADHD do… I just know everyone in my house does it… but we’re trying to work on it. Basically it constists of moving things into piles (or in our home, most often bags or bins), to “deal with it later…” and then basically forgetting those piles exist. Then searching frantically for whatever it is that’s likely in one of those piles/boxes/bins…
The compass rose with the arrows going everywhere was my husband’s idea, and the random butterfly was my 15-year-old’s idea. For context, every one of the 5 people in our household has officially been diagnosed with ADHD… life can be interesting some times.
I’m blurring this one because my partner hasn’t received it yet. This is for a “trash to treasure” theme. I made it via my “sploosh painting” method to deal with leftover paint, and the flower is leftover from a paper project. The flower is resting on a sticker that I didn’t have another use for. The rest is metallic alcohol markers.
Thanks for looking!
