I decided to be a swamp monster at first to go with my hair, then I added upon that to be a Japanese swamp monster: a kappa. Kappa are odd little turtle-men with beaks and a “dish” on top of their head. If the “dish” is emptied the Kappa is significantly weakened. They are known for drowning people, liking cucumbers, and being obsessed with obtaining a mythical soul organ from people’s butts.

I made this all within 24 hours. The backpack is functional.

I used a jumpsuit that can be used regularly instead of just for Halloween but I made the front shell piece, back shell piece, the beak, and the dishon my head.
