I finally finished my lap blanket. I used some Lion Brand mandala yarn plus a bunch of random plain colored yarns (I used 2 strands at once). The basic stitch was a double then single, alternated. Then on the next row the double crochets were done in the previous singles and the singles were done in the previous doubles. Then a classic shell border. This is a thick heavy blanket - just in time for spring
Holy mackerel! Itโs HUGE!! And I love how you held 2 strands together!
Looks so cozy! I love the colors too
That one pic is less than half my bed. Itโs only across the foot so looks deceptively large
Oh yes, I was thinking whole bed!
That is so completely gorgeous. Mind blown total love
Love the way you merged/mashed in the yellow to add some cohesiveness to the scrappy yarns! It looks cozy and comfyโฆha ha letโs hope spring waits a few more weeks (as I walk around barefoot sweeping my deckโฆ)
So beautiful. Nice work.
Lovely, warm and snuggly! Nice workโn
Great colors! Looks very cozy!
Oh, I love the effect of using the two yarns at once! Creates cool speckles. And makes it so snuggly, too!
How beautiful! Love it!
The colors are simply marvelous!
This is so great! I really love it.
what a great use of colors!
It looks very comfortable and I love the happy color combination!
I just want to snuggle up in that blanket.
What a lovely blanket! It looks so squishy-squashy, snuggly-wuggly. Love it!
This is so pretty!
I love the heathered effect of the double strand of yarn. This turned out beautiful!
