Recently, I needed just a bit more fabric to qualify for free shipping AND I knew TheMisterT could use another pair of pot holder AND that one of my dear ones was preparing to move back into his condo - with his gf - after having renters for a few years, so I grabbed a yard of fun Alexander Henry print.
My friend has a long history associated with Lucha, so I knew he’d get a kick out of these. TheMisterT also has that history, so he got two.
Other than the print, I was able to use a bunch of remnants, scraps, and almost-empties. For the backs I cobbled together remnants of Insulbrite left from more commercial uses. There are two layers of cotton batting in the middle which were scraps from a recent quilted blanket project and I used up two almost-empty spools of thread sewing them together. WOO!
