Ever since my daughter got braces last year, she has wanted to cosplay Mabel from Gravity Falls. Mabel knits her own sweaters, and has an assortment of fun/crazy ones. So, I did what any crazy crafty mom would do, I bought some yarn and learned how to knit. After half a scarf I felt ready and just jumped right in.
The biggest piece of this costume is Mabel’s iconic shooting start sweater, but I’ve also made the grapple gun and the headband. The braces, as mentioned, were installed by a professional
