I’m sorry, but I don’t think it will work for me this year.
I am also unable to attend. I was really hoping to make it work, but airline costs and work are conspiring against me.

Thank you friends, for getting back to me. We’re now at 1 confirmation, 1 maybe, and 9 not attending. As there’s just one person who hasn’t had a chance to respond, I’m going to call it. This sequel is canceled for this year. 
Things are rough for everyone right now, and that’s okay. Sometimes things just don’t work out. I’ll try again next summer, or the one after. Hopefully things in the world will settle a bit by then.

At our house travel things have changed in the last few years. Our parents are aging and TheMisterT’s sister and BIL are empty nesters, and I am becoming closer with my cousins as we’re the eldest generation on that side now (all of whom live elsewhere) our time and money for travel gets booked out pretty far in advance. Add in semi-regular trips with my girlfriends (and his dudes), it’s going to be difficult to assure my attendance for any additional trip.
I’ll just use my imagination and pretend to be there with you lot!
(I’m in Belgium, Europe, but even if I was close, my health issues wouldn’t allow me to participate.)

Thank you for doing all the pre-work to try to get this off the ground @MistressJennie! I’m sorry it didn’t work out in the end, but it’s got our brains primed in case the subject comes up again.
(And apologies for not responding sooner. Right after my previous post in the thread I got thrown into the eldercare meat-grinder with my grandfather, which culminated in contacting hospice and being in a bit of a brain-dead funk. So yeah, travel right now is a little dicey.)
