Monsters Searching for a Home

And they found one with @Kwality570! Thank goodness as having two little rambunctious monster along with four 9 week-old foster kittens (how can something so small be so noisy and destructive?) and two long suffering adult cats, is quite a handful. For these little girls I painted gray stripes on a piece of dark green flannel backed donated fabric…maybe upholstery fabric of some kind? And added black lines with a Sharpie. Horns are polymer clay that I accidentally over-baked for a nice toasted…

I created this little monster from a kit I got from Amazon. I don’t normally make kits, but I thought this one was so cute that it was worth a try!

I created a Monster/Troll planter to donate to the garage sale. Meet Chauncey. He likes opera, rock climbing, and goat yoga. Though, sadly, he was banned from the goat yoga studio after he got a bit peckish.

Halloween Monster Pet Mat

Lately I have been trying to learn to quilt. Time has gotten the best of me and I haven’t been able to try much, but I did manage to get a dish mat done for my cat, Tipsy. [20240212_193618] Tipsy has CH which affects her balance and coordination. She has to use an elevated bowl and she pecks at her food. She also has to eat on the carpet so she doesn’t slip around. I moved her bowl to the hall leading to the kitchen, but she is super messy. I decided to practice my quilting by making food mat…

It’s my way of learning quilting.
