The eye and skulls were tea towels. The skeleton was a beautiful hoop that was trimmed with paper flowers and a witch cameo. The cat got to it. I wanted to preserve the pieces, so I ironed on some heavy duty fusible interfacing to the embroidery panels and picked some pretty fabric to make them into pillows.
Great idea for giving damaged pieces new life. I like the rounded top shape of the skelly piece, gives it character.

Great saves! I love how the images on the rectangle pillows are off-center; it gives them more of a spooky vibe. The skeleton is my fave! That rounded top reminds me of headstones and of nichos.
