Needle felted mouse with silk skirt and blouse, sweater knitted on toothpicks, and a hat - it’s all about the hat.
The silk skirt was pieced together from sari “yarn”. The blouse was also made from just a different section of the sari yarn.
Oh my goodness, You knitted the sweater with toothpicks! That’s dedication, but the results are fantastic, What a sweet lady. She looks ready for adventure.
Everything about this is divine! I adore the mouse’s sweet little face, the amazing hat and clothes, the netting! Even her tiny little fingers are perfect. What a wonderful present for your friend.
I hope one day my needle-felting skills will be even a tenth as good!
This is adorable! I love the little details, like the tulle under the skirt and the band around the hat. A sweater knit on toothpicks - AMAZING!! Beautiful work as always!
Oh, my giggles! She is an utter delight! And she looks like she’s feeling the merriment of the season all the way to the tip of her pointy mouse nose! The wee outfit! Her fancy hat! Her expression!
I can practically hear her singing “Just One More Sleep Till Christmas”. Each one of your creations has so much life and personality. I adore each one.
I used to have every version of Christmas Carol on DVD - the Muppet version with Michael Caine has always been a favorite - I’m especially fond of the caroling bunny!!
Thank you everyone!! It felt good to make a mouse again. I have been doing a lot of different things, and there’s stuff going on here that takes my time and attention. I’m hoping things will improve.
She’s so cute!!! I love the entire outfit, and while of course it’s all about the hat, I’d say the toothpick-knitted sweater is pretty good competition for being the “it” item in the outfit
