I made this needle felted moth hoop for Robin in the 12 Days of Christmas swap. It’s 4" across and is supposed to be a Cecropia Moth.

This is gorgeous! I have done plenty of 3D needle felting, but I always forget that you can make beautiful 2D wool art, as well. This is both lovely and inspiring.

Yes, the backing fabric in the hoop is wool felt so I can felt right onto it.
