Nerd Games Discussion Thread

I’m about to do that again with some things I made for a swap, and some more I’m making. Not quite at 5 hours yet, but almost!

We adopted a flame point ragdoll today. His name is Sherbert, and I’ve been calling him Sherby the Love Bug all day. He’s sooooo sweet. He’s 3-4 years old, he was rescued from a hoarding situation, and was nearly a foster fail, but in the end she did rehome him. He’s such a snuggly boy.

As soon as our team mascot has decided to be nice, I hope to recruit Sherby as a cheerleader for the games

Congratulations to Sherby for finding the best forever home!

Awe. Sherby looks so cute and trusting. I am so glad that he has a wonderful home now. Monkey will calm down soon enough.

Sherby the Love Bug sounds just about right! He will find lots of love at your house, I have no doubt.

I just went through and matched up the rest of my items to the prompts. I did some shuffling around of a few, and swapped out a few more. I have 22 projects on my list that I should be able to finish. I had some more ambitious items picked out, but those will get bumped to the Spring Games. I am happy that some of my items are long-time WIPs or BIBHUIYs so it will be nice to get a couple of those taken care of.

I’ve never seen this one. Bought It But Haven’t Used It Yet?

Yes! My sister introduced the phrase to me, and I just love it. It helps that I have so many things that it applies to… at least I think it does…

Yay! Really proud I figured that one out on my own. Because GWNH (Google was no help ).

I’m impressed that you did!

I’m glad you asked because I couldn’t figure it out, and I love GWNH

I matched up mine too. I have a couple of prompts done, but I am waiting on people to receive and post them. I also have a lot of things I need to finish or start. They are for swaps, so I have my fingers crossed I can get them done to post for the Winter Games. That is my goal. No more weekend plans for March. This one got booked up and threw me off my crafting plans.

I need to start matching things up! I have some stuff that has arrived that I should find a way to use.

I’m giving myself permission for a crafty weekend! I have a list of things I can get finished if I get myself organized tonight. I need to get some dinner (I’ve been craving pizza all week!), and then I can get cracking  I have a target of 11 finished projects… I should be able to do at least 7 of them, and a couple of others are definite maybes.

Sounds like an excellent weekend!

I have enough crafted for the contest @LovelyMiss so graciously offered. I am just waiting on one item to arrive. It’s been in transit for over three weeks. I will give it until the 30th, if it doesn’t arrive, I will post it anyways. I don’t think the recipient is on this thread anyways.

You could always blur the photo as a barrier, too.

Yeah, but I wanted to make a thread for it.
