I just realized the item I planned on using for the monthly challenge in August is for a swap (Grab Bag), and it might not make it in time, but it also might. Hmmm. I might have to make something else last minute.
Can you blur the photo and give it a project name that reveals nothing?
I might if it comes down to the wire.
I’ve been working on a blanket for a bit now. My rows are 182 stitches across, and it would usually take me 13-15 minutes to crochet one row. It’s taking me 25 minutes or more to work one row right now, and I feel like I will never be done. I know crochet isn’t a race, but it’s hard when a project doesn’t grow as fast as normal. I want to finish so I can go on to the next thing
I just got my August Battle in under the wire! I might have to swap out some of my planned projects so I can finish all of the prompts in the next month I have a few WIPs (at least 8!) I might be able to finish if I really buckle down. But, a few of the larger projects will have to get bumped.
In July, I was in “recovery mode” from my worst school year ever (plus it was so hot and humid!!) that I lacked motivation for pretty much anything. August was better, but it went by in a flash! I only had 2 weeks before I had to do back to school stuff. However, in spite of being back to school already, I am feeling energized, and think I might actually be able to complete them all!
New prompts will be posted tomorrow. The long US holiday weekend has wiped and the fact that August flew by way too quickly has our ducks out of line.
New prompts are up, hopefully with enough time for those that have the day off to get some crafting in! Sorry about the delay.
Thanks so much for these! I know they are a lot of work and I appreciate all that you do to keep it going and fun!
