Hi all!!
I’ve been lurking every so often for the past couple months and told myself I’d try to jump back into the Nerd Games this fall (I don’t think I’ve participated since )…. but it looks like I missed a lot of fun during the summer round! Congrats all!
I will try to re-read through everything and hop in this time, though! (Plus, I have at least one research project that could possibly use some accountability, heehee.)

Speaking of, I have another I am supposed to be working on. I got fabric to make myself a Halloween quilt last November. It has not been made yet. It was a gift, and I promised it would not be unrequited stash and that I would make it by 2025. Originally, that was by Halloween, but things got hectic. I need to get working on it!

Oooh! I’m so excited to receive mine! The tracking info shows it as delivered yesterday, but LittleBookLover and I are out of town this week for his fall break. Thank you to everyone for keeping the surprise a secret, I can’t wait to open mine next week!

I haven’t even stepped foot out of my house for a few days. I’ve been working and sleeping (and crafting while I work) and not much else. I’m pumped that I’ll be checking my mailbox today! Trying to get hubby packed and to the airport or I’d do it right NOW.

Also, I think the Nerd Games Pin event may have created a pin monster over here. Prior to the Nerd Games pins, I had a single pin that I had purchased. After participating in the pin events, I’ve realized how fun it is to display various pins and when I went to Comic-Con earlier this year, pins were the one thing I was on the lookout for. Now, I’m starting to think I may have to make another pin display

Thanks! That one is actually a needle minder and will hopefully come in handy the next time I have to do any hand stitching (so long as I remember I have it up there!).

Well since I apparently had a crafting meltdown in 2024, I am optimistic that 2025 will be better. Thanks to a craft day yesterday, I have 2 projects fully completed and 2 more partially completed, so I will be starting off the year with success! It’s a small success, but I will take any win right now
