I received my Spring pins from @LovelyMiss today! She was also kind enough to resend my Winter pins after the PO lost the first shipment.

Thank you so much, Ashley! Truly grateful for all you do.

I got my pins too! Thank you so much! I was on my way to dinner when I grabbed them from the mailbox and showed them to my Mom. She loved them too. You are so generous. We appreciate you so much!

I also got my pins, and my hubby claimed the Big Foot pin for himself

Okay, I will admit, I am getting a little lost. What was the SWIM TEST? I couldn’t find it.
Nevermind. I found it.

Hey, Nerds! My cool and crafty neighbor joined LC. Will you go give her a welcome? Ladies' Springtime Tea Party

Monkey has claimed a box as his own, and is silently judging everyone for not giving him one sooner. Ok. Maybe he’s just judging me. But I need to share the guilt :rofl::rofl:

Oh no! It might be my fault. We just finished packing up most of an apartment, so used up most of our boxes, without being able to offer him one. I am so sorry!
I’m glad he took matters into his own paws and claimed a box.

Greetings, Campers!

We’re nearly one month into summer camp, so we’ve had plenty of time to settle in and make our cabin space feel like a bit of home.

It would be lovely if you would share a collage of what your bunk looks like.

You can create your own avatar, and maybe include images of bedding, art work you’d like to adorn your walls, stuffed animals you brought along, etc. show us what your slice of cabin life is like. :tent: :bed:

So, I am showing my early GenX here… I have no idea how that works…

Click on the link. At the very top it says, “Run Game.” Click on it.

Then a screen will pop up to accept the terms.

Then use the interface to build a character just like in a video game! When you’re done click on “Save 256x256.”

Make your bunk collage by either posting multiple images here, or using a publishing program or website like Canva to combine them all together. Include your avatar!

Let me know if there are further questions or confusion!

Thanks! I’ll have to get my tablet charged and do it on that. But, I laughed when you said “just like in a video game.” Pretty much the only video games I ever played were Pong, and then Hunt the Wumpus on our Texas Instrument “console.”

Here is my avatar and my bunk. I’d have it lit with fairy lights, with some good books nearby to read. I’d bring along a bunch of yarn, my Pound Puppy, and the Mr SBC doll I made a while back. And of course I’d bring along a super soft and comfy sloth blanket!

I love it!! And, it helps immensely to see how one looks

If we get to design our cabins, mine would be full fantasy and with lots of books!

Here’s my avatar:

And my cabin:

It needs large, pretty windows, a fireplace, comfy bed with lots of pillows, plants, books, and a swinging chair to lounge in!

And of course my panda bear snuggle buddy would keep me company.

I went overboard, but if we’re here for three months, I figured I could bring a few extras!

For decor, I’d probably actually want a cork board. I love just tacking up all of the random things I find and enjoy…like Nerd Games pins?! And stickers. And fandom pictures. I’d definitely stick some glow stars somewhere, and hopefully have a window for a plant. I’d also bring my Bert & Ernie babies, a crossword puzzle book, and a Discman with the cheap over-the-ear headphones. I was contemplating what crafts I might do in bed and it would probably be making beaded or braided bracelets. Of course, my bedding would be space-themed, and that would be true even if I wasn’t repping Cabin Stargazers!

I would have lots of books to read, my music, coffee, a journal to write or draw in, crystal suncatchers for the daylight, and fairy lights for night.

I love the cabins you all came up with. Such a cozy vibe with the fairy lights and built in bookcases. I would also love to be in a hobbit cabin with round windows and doors! And I had glow in the dark stars on my ceiling when I was growing up! I loved them so much! :star:
