Prompt: Y2K

Project Name: Stay Puft Face Up
Project Link: Stay Puft Monster High Doll
Brief Description: I am still learning to do face ups on my dolls. You have to prep the bare face, remove all the old paint, recolor if needed, sketch with watercolor pencils, build it up between coats of Mr Super Clean, then add the paint. It’s so tiny that it is nerve-wracking.

Project Name: Stay Puft Doll Paint
Project Link: Stay Puft Monster High Doll
Brief Description: Changing the color of a Monster High doll takes a lot of work. Most paints leave streaks or cracks. It was a lot of trial and error to get this to work. And lots of Mr Super Clean as well! I watched several videos on different ways to change them, and went with paint.

Project Name: Stay Puft Reroot
Project Link: Stay Puft Monster High Doll
Brief Description: Rerooting a doll takes a lot of time and patience. This one took over 8 hours. You have to remove the original hair, clean all the glue out, then plug by tiny plug, add the new hair in. Then you have to set that with glue and style with gel. This hair was straight up before the styling. I was inspired by all the amazing dolls I see on social media.
