Prompt: Zap 1 Team: Cabin Stargazers Project Name: July Postcard Project Link: — Brief Description: My postcard for the month of July. I wasn’t sure what would stick well to the glossy surface so I went with some acrylic paint pens.
Adventure Club
Had a few adventures tonight while walking the dog! We visited the creek and I found some gorgeous wildflowers, thus checking off items 2 & 3 on my adveture list.
My sister and I went to VT for her birthday and while walking around Woodstock, we saw a planter with this flower in it. It’s a type of ice plant, and neither of us had ever heard of it before.
Adventure Club- #3 Visit a body of water of any kind or size
This is Lake Champlain from the VT side, although we accidentally got into the line for the ferry, so we almost went to the NY side. Fortunately, we realized in time and turned around. Turns out Ferry Rd. goes right onto the ferry!
Prompt: July Jamoree Team: Stargazers Project Name: Curious Cat Project Link: Coming Soon Brief Description: I painted this for the 4x6 swap. It is inspired by the song “Love Cats” by The Cure. I will post a link once the second piece of art reaches its destination. Project Photo(s):
Prompt: July - Jamboree Team: Cabin Finger Painters Project Name: wooden heart Project Link:Night Sky ornament Brief Description: my arts and crafts club project! We used to sing TAPS at camp before going to bed: “Day is done; Gone the sun; From the lakes, from the hills, from the sky; All is well; Safely rest; God is nigh.” I guess it sounds like that could be kind of a morbid thing but the words are pretty flexible for more than one circumstance, I feel. Brief Description: I had the same instinct as others and leaned into the circles as surfaces for various kitties. I added some white acrylic under the stickers so they would be visible (since they’re transparent) and then did a layer of collage medium over the top to make sure they wouldn’t fall off. Glossy surfaces are tricky!

Brief Description: I forgot to take a photo of my postcard before I sent it, but @Bunny1kenobi kindly sent me one. I set a timer and started doodling faces and I was just starting to get into it when the timer went off! Because I was away in VT, I was limited to the supplies I had on hand, so I used Sharpies.
Prompt: July Jamboree Team: Cabin Stargazers Project Name: The Mushroom Portal Project Link:Mushrooooooooms Brief Description:
Bit of a stretch, but GOING ON A BEAR HUNT often has a stanza about going past a mushroom patch.
I just did my nightly PT stretches. My range of motion is better than it was before my surgery, but I still have a ways to go. My shoulder was frozen for so long, I lost some muscle and I can’t put my hand to the small of my back. But it’s getting there!
