New Puppy's Pawprint Christmas Stocking

Since we have a new pup who is entirely a different colorway than our dearly departed Delia, I decided to make her a new stocking for Christmas closer to her grey/tan brindle.

I find the cartooniness of the print as compared to her actual fur coloring hilarious! It’s an upholstery print purchased from either Etsy or Ebay. The toebeans are a faux suede from JoAnn.

The green lining fabric was leftover from making TheMisterT and I stockings last year. I have no idea why I have this green velvet in my stash, but I think it was just right for this project. Yey!

The little snowflake brooch is also from my stash and just like the ones on the human’s stockings.

I was able to find the pattern I used to make Delia’s and Betty’s stockings 13 years ago! The construction was slightly different, because of the differences in the stocking body and cuff/collar fabrics, and Vivienne’s turned out a little smaller, but I like that they are of a kind.

Thank you!

That is so sweet. She is one of the luckiest dogs ever to find her way into your home!

I adore that Vivienne has her own handmade stocking. Such a lucky pup!

Thanks! I seem to only know that way for stockings, those for the humans or the pets!

I recognized that velvet for sure. It’s the perfect accent for your pup’s first stocking!

Thank you! Plus, green is her color!
