I homeschool my son (my girls are in school for the first time this year), and this week we’ll be reviewing plate tectonics. Very significant discoveries that contributed to this theory were made at Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland.
Back when we were doing our RV trip, we visited the park, and I took pictures of all the panels about plate tectonics, thinking they would come in handy for homeschooling in later years.
I was going through those pictures to plan lessons for my kiddo, and I ran across one of the favourite photos I have ever taken, and I wanted to share.
It sure helps that Gros Morne is an absolutely gorgeous park, and Newfoundland has a very unique beauty. I hope you like this photo as much as I do
This was taken in 2018. It is unedited, but I cannot recall what camera I was using at the time. I think it was just a phone camera, but I cannot remember.
While I’m here, here are some other photos I took in Newfoundland that are also among my favourites. I’d love to return and spend more time there some day. It’s truly a beautiful place.
