I received from @curiousfae today!

The ATC is wet felted. It looks (and feels!) so cool!

Thank you so much! I’ll have to add wet felting to my list of things to try someday!

Super cool, @curiousfae! I’ve tried needle felting, but not wet felting and this makes me want to run out and try it immediately!

Yay! So glad you like it. It was a really fun process. There are ways to embed sequins and different types of threads (which I tried but didn’t quite work) that I’m excited try now. And layering all the different colors was super fun.
This was the percent swap to experiment.

That’s so cool @curiousfae! I love how precise the black outlines are- that looks like it was tricky to do.

that looks amazing @curiousfae

I received from @curiousfae and I love it!!
Wet felted multicolor hearts :star_struck:

And an extra- are those squares watercolor paints??

Thank you so much! Now to think of a good way to display it…

Awesome cards, @curiousfae! Felting is one idea I hadn’t thought of.

Thanks!
I actually needle felted the outlines. Getting something that precise has got to be hard and I’d definitely need more practice to get that good.

I received my card from @Tapestry today!

Lots of fun materials and texture (tin foil was one of the ideas on my possibilities list as well ). Thanks so much, Jenn!

@curiousfae Those wet felted ATCs are beautiful! They have an almost watercolor feel to them.

@Tapestry Tin foil is such a clever idea. I never thought of it. All the layers give it a rich feel.

I’ll eventually make a post for this ATC and the other I made (once it arrives). The white behind the foil is batting and the layer behind that is paper towel fabric. The ATC is heavily influenced by a book called MORE FABRIC ART COLLAGE by Rebekah Meier. Her work is just gorgeous and super inspiring!

I received from @megwell! She used the most original materials: fused plastic bags and ducttape layed with paint!

The result is so cool and original! Thank you for a super impressive ATC, Megan!

Oh neat! @megwell you’ll have to create a post about how you made it!

got my wonderful ATC from megwell - it is fab! the base is fused plastic bags and reusing layers of packing tape not to mention the stitching - love how it came together. and the back is cool too.

first pic is the atc and the envie - cool way to reuse paper.
second pic is the atc closer up
and the back - love the texture.
