For the monster swap, my partner @momiemae said she likes vampires and there were a lot of them in her Pinterest feed.

I created this version of the Queen of Hearts for her:

The intent with the slight blush in the cheeks was to amp up the creepy factor a little without being gory…, working on the notion that she has just fed…

I used shimmery watercolors, Posca pens, micron pens and chalk on mixed media paper. I also made the label with the title which could be attached to a frame (it was sent unframed- I was nervous a frame would break in the mail).

This looks great in your photo, so I can only imagine how much better it looks in person when you can see the full effect of the shimmery watercolors! I like the way you did the scrollwork on her dress.
