I got put in a thumb splint for three weeks and I also got my return to the facility notice. Sorry I haven’t been very active. I finally got my card done and will send it soon. Loving the cards so far!
Eep! Hope your thumb is healing! (I mucked up my wrist pretty badly for a few days a week+ ago, and somehow managed to get behind on everything including reading library books; how does this happen??)
LOL! I get it. I hurt my wrist/thumb at the end of April and have been hobbling along. I finally went to the doctor because it was getting worse. The splint is on my right hand too. It is so annoying, but I am determined to keep it on. If it doesn’t heal up I have to go to a specialist, get some shots, and another splint. I don’t want this to last any longer than it has to.
I plan on joining again in June and being able to claim more.
Until there’s a real swap database, we’re only having this once every two or three months, so you should have a little longer to heal up. (Or think of a technique that’s not thumb-intensive, since we’ve still got a third of the month to go!)
Just a heads-up: I was planning on catching up on ATCs over this past weekend, but I somehow managed to catch a cold (HOW?! I have not been around humans!) which put me out of commission for most of the weekend, so I’m still running a bit behind. ToT So sorry, and I’ll try to catch up soon!
