Today (technically late last night and then this afternoon) the mail gods have bequeathed me with greatness! I received from @gozer, @Mountains_and_Clouds, @megwell and @curiousfae !!!

Next theme is rainy days by @Mountains_and_Clouds
how gorgeous is this?!!! She said it was raining for a week(Oh how I wish for some rain) and it brought some waterfalls in the mountains back to life. She decided to show a small rainy view of ko’olau waterfalls. This is definitely my kind of view and my kind of rainy day. So beautiful! Oh and I didn’t get a picture of the card but is it a stamp that you did yourself @Mountains_and_Clouds? It’s really pretty.
Next, my scrappy/mixed media theme from @megwell
like, how gorgeous! I love how effortlessly it flows and love the colors. She said she used fabric! (I’m always too scared to add fabric 
), paint, gesso, magazine and pen and stability around the edges.
And from @curiousfae, my creepy Victorian theme.
Stunning!!! I love how different my two creepy Victorian themes are. They’re both exactly what I pictured. I love this scenery of Highgate Cemetery in London, England which @curiousfae says is “faux” urban sketching since unfortunately she is not on location in London. Lol. I really like the way you used watercolor on this. It came out eerily beautiful.

Administrative notes! June is nearly upon us, and I’m out of town for the weekend, so if we go straight into a June swap it’ll open a couple days late. I will also once again be unable to host for July or August, so if people would like to keep swapping all summer we’ll need a volunteer or two.
So we have two polls!
- Yay JUNE!!!

I’m planning to do ICAD for the first time in June and July this year, so I’m being really cautious about getting too far ahead of myself on other crafty plans . But if I discover I have the bandwidth for multiple irons in the fire, I may jump in if the swap is open.

Yes, so far it’s looking like July is probably best as a month off here, though if someone is willing to run August there are several people who would appreciate it. (I’ll post more about it when we get closer, no rush.)
