I got two wonderful cards recently. The first is from @Myruka. She picked my (secret) favorite theme and executed it to perfection! HA! These cards always make me laugh. I love the neon light of “Fisher Play Den.” It’s Hilarious!
And then @jellybean sent me the cutest cat cards. She said they were of her cat (she didn’t reveal the name) but they look like my beloved Dahl who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I love them!
She also sent them in the neatest card about leaving kittens with the mothers, which is ironic because I was just fostering a 3-week old that someone dropped outside my vets office. My Mom ended up adopting him (Murray). The card is a great way to spread information!

I received from @Myruka for my reimagined Clue character theme. Turns out it was Miss Scarlet with the candlestick in an '80s glamour shot

Hahahaha! When I saw this as a theme, I knew I had to do it. And I immediately had this image in my head I believe the neon sign is what really finishes this one off. I’m happy you like it.

Hahahaha!!! I’m glad you like you backyard chickens. As soon as I started I turned to my husband and asked “do you think this is what was meant by backyard chicken?” Haha. He didn’t think so but I went with it.

I received this awesome watercolor and ink Winnie the Pooh card from @Mountains_and_Clouds today! It’s so cute! My childhood teddy bear was a Winnie the Pooh bear, so he’s always special to me.

Thanks all! I basically re-drew a slightly modified version of one of the original drawings and added a little color. I still have my thick “World of Pooh” book that I basically stole from my grandma as a kid. I think this chapter was my favorite, heehee.

I just received my last card for the month from @thanate for my “native species” theme!
It’s the Quercus Alba, but most of us know it as the White Oak (native to forests of the eastern continental U.S.).
I really love this perspective!!! It makes me think of summers growing up in the midwest just looking up through the trees at the sky.
