This first is from @geekgirl, and she did a lovely pinterest inspired piece of a crow! I love it, thank you so much!
And this is from @Myruka, and she made me a cute little mouse on a journey! I love the little details like the yougurt cup and hat! I wonder where he’s off to on his adventure. I love it, thank you so much!
I got this amazing card from @geekgirl for my snail with skull shell theme. She nailed it. I absolutely love when she draws! This is so cool. Thank you Geekgirl!
I am going to do a roundup. I may have already commented, but another comment won’t hurt anything.
@curiousfae – I love that axoloti. The way you did the dots is pure perfection! Its little face is so sweet! And I love the dark background to make them pop more. And that What We Do In The Shadows card is top notch phenomenal! I cann’t express enough how much I love it. You gave me some serious swap anxiety. I had to take a step back and up my game this round.
@Bluebird – I love how you made Jessica Rabbit so recognizable, even in fish form. Is she glittery? Or is that stippled? Looks great! The camper is so sweet. The two photos look like they are of the camper in daylight and at night. The poison bottle and moose are adorable. I love the glass bottle’s subtle marking; your moose looks very friendly and curious. It’s like he just asked you to get ice cream with him and eagerly awaits your answer. And nothing beats my Millie!
@Myruka – Awe, I loved that show. You captured it perfectly! I love how you fill your backgrounds and create a whole environment for your art. Snape is awesome. He looks exactly as he should as a bird. He oozes discontentment without saying a word. And the Swing Dance theme was so fun. You got the movement and fun right on the card! Lego Danzig – Iconic. You know I love that ghost. The cat is so cute in its arms! And that mouse on a journey?! There you go again, creating a whole world. All the details. I love this style. It looks like a children’s book I would buy!
@pioneer9 – I love how you get your cards so smooth and complete. There are no white gaps between the colored pencil strokes or markers. You really make your art shine. I love your style. It’s so adorable. The bunny is so cute and that monster is hilarious! What kind of pencils do you use over your markers? I am trying to use Prisma over some of mine now to add a little depth. The typewriter collage is nicely composed and great sentiment. The sunflower is great. I like how you softened the background yet kept it interesting so the flower could shine.
@Geekgirl – Love it when you draw! The giraffe is so cute peeking over into the card! Girl! That crow is so awesome. Love that almost hazy feel to it. It looks determined; I would not cross it! Your snail with the skull shell is fantastic! I love it so much. The detail on the skull where is swirls is amazing and I love the inclusion of the little mushrooms!
a mail truck in Norfolk VA caught on fire a couple of days ago. Luckily no one was hurt but if you are expecting mail that might route through Norfolk, this might explain if it doesn’t show up
And @gozer thank you so much! I have a hard time filling in the background but sometimes I feel like the background needs more. Other times, I’ll leave the background if I really want the center to be the main focal point and anything else would be too distracting. But the mouse on the journey definitely needed more story.
@thanate - I don’t think I have ever seen a more perfect interpretation of a prompt! And executed so well! I love this card so much. You really set a mood with the colors and textures. AMAZING!
