My mail is finally running and seems to be have gotten the back log out because i received three amazing ATCs! Truly, these are iconic!
First up, from @Mountains_and_Clouds , i was hoping i would get one of her incredible moving ATCs and i did! Plus, its cats, so you know i love it!
Next up is an adorable ATC from @Kwality570 . She sent me an ATC of my beloved little boy, Murray, all grown up and ready for a date!
Last, but absolutely not least, is this entirely perfect ATC of Louise Belcher dressed as The Blair Witch Project Manager from @fluffypants !!

So, I have been using the ATCs as warm ups and experiments in art. I am currently having a massive experimental fail with “petroglyphs” but it’s also a huge lesson in how different art materials do or don’t work together. Starting over now with materials I know work together…

I think things are a little slow! Like Gozer, I was also planning to wait for my last couple of January ATCs to arrive before I dive back in. I’m really hoping the one within my province arrives soon – over a week is concerning, when mail is usually not more than a couple of days.

Yeah, last month was the quickest ATC swap we’ve seen in a while, & I think we’re all still eying our mailboxes or catching up on non-snow-day things. It never hurts to think up more themes, but I wouldn’t worry about it for a few more days unless inspiration strikes.

I received from @Nightlight for my interesting facts about your hometown theme, and I love the art as well as learning about other places.
I’m in a mad rush between appointments today, so I’ll explain more/add the fact, as well as add a photo of the adorable envelope later today or tomorrow

While the fact is about the buildings, the level of detail on the grass really jumped out at me. Beautiful illustration.
