I need a bit of swapping in my life, and this one is pretty easy to fit in with all the rest

I love how I can customise this swap to suit busy times and free time. I’ve even been planning a bit of pre-crafting of some things on people’s lists, so I can mail out quickly!

I like the idea to pre craft… But I just claimed, he he. I’ve got a boring day off while my husband has to work. I’m hoping for my meds to kick in soon so I’ll feel like crafting. My knee is being naughty today.

Thanks again for claiming me Ann. I was afraid I killed the swap!! Hope you have a good, pain-free day.

Don’t worry @Fonduie, I’ve felt like I’ve stalled the swap for a few days sometimes in previous rounds. It just works out that way with people’s commitments - you could always add a few more ideas to your list in the mean time.

I made myself a promise that I would finish the main item for each claim before I made my next claim, to keep things manageable. (too easy to get distracted by the next exciting project, lol) Now I’ve finished something for @Bunny1kenobi, I can claim again! It wasn’t any of my original ideas, I got very inspired by something on her Pinterest. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out, even I do say so myself :smile_cat:

Finally got started. I found the perfect pattern and had already wound the yarn for another idea that didn’t pan out. It’s really nice to work with too, so that’s nice.

My knee is still naughty but yarn and painkillers help… I better get a stitch marker before the project grows more. I’m not sure I can trust my ability to count, heh…

Ok! I just sent my first claim to @jemimah . They say it will arrive in New Zealand on May 4th so I will cross my fingers but I won’t hold my breath.

I’m really excited to see what you created @Fonduie! :sparkles:

Now it’s my turn to stall things for a few days, lol!

I really do appreciate that people are willing to send things to me. I know international mail can be a bit of a hassle. If it helps anyone who can’t stretch to international parcel costs, I have just spent some time brainstorming 10 flat things that could be mailed as a letter/large envelope. I’ve added it to the bottom of my list.

(Without tracking, there’s a tiny chance you might need to resend, but the mail here is extremely reliable, and based on all my swapping to date, it’s very unlikely.)

I am following your lead…I am about done with the main project for my first claim. As soon as that is done, I really want to claim you! I think this round is small enough that I will be able to claim everyone! lol…I have already sort of planned ahead from the lists everyone has posted…I just hope I don’t delay and others beat me to the punch…don’t worry about stalling…we are all just busily working away!

I’m loving this pattern. It’s so well written I don’t have to think! It already has some of the modifications I like to make when crocheting a ______.
