Whoops! I was prematurely excited to be finished. Fingers crossed that yours arrives soon!
@jemimah Those tags and wonky houses are simply wonderful! You always have such clever ways to make some simple thing so much more interesting with your embellishments and drawings!
Iām very excited to see what you made @thanate! hopefully thereāll be some mail this week
Thank you so much for the kind comments about the wonky houses, they were a lot of fun to make. I was inspired by @Smmarrtās wonderful artworks

@thanate sent me a ridiculously generous and creative package - very much worth waiting for!!
Thereās beautiful cards, stickers and colourful bits, AND origami cicadas and hand decorated embellishments, AND postage stamps, amazing decorated paper clips and pencil toppers, AND a fabulous machine embroidered map, a little skelly, and a miniature pack of cards!
Such a thoughtful and generous package, thank you so very much!
What a fun package of paper goodies!
Love that skelly with button joints
Fun stuff and Iām so happy it arrived.
Yay! Thanks for a fun swapā¦letās do it again.
Those tiny embroidered envelopes are killing me! Cute-oooo!
Is NZ on the map?
Itās that tiny double-dot in the bottom right corner. (I had two partners & two hemispheres of map pattern that worked out to one for each.)
I was just funningā¦in the past year, we have had fun commenting on how NZ is often left out of maps in the news cyclesā¦lolā¦great job being inclusive!
Ahahaha!! Yes, yes it is
itās the first thing I checked
(actually I was sure @thanate would never be so careless)
(Not part of this swap, just visiting.)
I just had a good look at all of the pictures in this thread (swoooooooooon).
So many pretty pieces of paper embellishment/ephemera!
Like walking through a candy store (but without the diabetes).
I take no credit for the design of the map, but it would definitely have spoiled the partner in each hemisphere symmetry if NZ hadnāt actually been included.
