That looks fab!

looks like this Sunday has won! So I will send a zoom out Sunday morning.

The supplies needed are minimal.

  • paper, she gets hers pretty wet so you will probably want something sturdier like 140lb+ water color paper. if you don’t have that then just be careful not to get your paper too wet so it won’t tear and maybe expect some warping.
  • watercolor paints
    -brushes
    -water
  • possibly a dryer tool or hair dryer to speed up the drying process

You’re reading my mind, I’ve been wanting to try a watercolor nebula. Will try to make it on Sunday!

Theoretically, if someone didn’t want to paint a watercolor nebula, could they still join up and journal to their own beat?

If you are also “arting” in some fashion that is fine.
I just ask that people be cognizant of when we play the video so participants can watch the next steps!

Have to miss this one, forgot we have a long weekend and it’s beautiful weather so we are going on a road trip for a couple days.

I will also miss it - I am back in San Diego caring for my mom and I won’t have access to art supplies. But I will maybe try this when we get back to her house :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Have fun everyone.

I just saw this too late, but sadly would have to miss this anyway. Looks like a fun one! I’ll have to try it out on my own.

Me too, bookmarked for later. Family is here this weekend for an early Canadian Thanksgiving, Rob & I are going camping next weekend when it’s supposed to occur.

Sorry I missed this!

They look great! Did you add some black to the first one? I really like the more drippy effect on that one as well.

I did. When she used payne’s gray and mixed with blue, I used black and mixed with my dark blue. that was the first one I did and I used a lot more water and had more layers going on. I like the brightness of the 2nd one but it doesn’t have the same look as the first.

Here are my nebuli…I am going to try these with darker colors…maybe throw in some oranges instead of the pinks…I like these for using in backgrounds, so looks like they will be very nice for making notecards! Thanks for the ZOOM and, now I also need textured watercolor paper!

Does anyone want to try for this weekend?

We could do the same video or maybe this video. its of a cloudy sky but if you used darker colors it would make a good galaxy
