Thank you
I did rough out the main bits in pencil first last night (otherwise I know I would make a spelling mistake or get the spacing wrong!) And I think it probably took two cups of coffee

Even pencil sketching first, that precision is quite beyond me unless I have a refernce image to work from! I envy your raw talent and artist’s eye and you are a continual source of inspiration.

If you want another free class - Sketchbook Revival
I think I signed up last year but was unable to participate while caring for my mom. But this year, I’ll try it. Lots of good teachers - Robin-Marie Smith, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, Wendy Solganic (of Fodder School Fame) and more.

I was just poking around on Blick’s deals page, like I do, and noticed they have buy one get one free on lots of different paper pads if anyone needs paper.

I have been in a crafty slump lately. My energy and attention have been on our recent house updates; setting up the kids’ rooms, organizing, reorganizing, purging, repeat…
But I’ve been missing my craft room. So when Alisa Burke came out with new fall classes, I decided to try to reignite the momentum I’ve had with her 30-day classes in the past. I signed up for Autumn Petite and have only done 2 days so far but I’m hopeful it will give me the push I need to get creating again.

Everything about this is awesome!
Maybe I’ll get back to the ~ahem~ four AB classes I picked up during the bundle sale now…

I had definitely lost momentum with her classes, but I’m trying to use them more as a jumping off point this time and incorporating more of my own style. I just need something to get me in the “zone.” I’m trying to channel a bit of @jemimah energy here. She is excellent at being inspired by a video or a prompt, but totally doing it her way.

love those pages. I just saw she had a $5 5 lesson Watercolor Sketch Mushroom class. it miraculously ended up in my cart and checked itself out.
