it’s not too bad where I am. it’s worse in the west of the state. It’s windy and raining and it’s been raining a lot lately so there are flash flood warnings.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I lost power though. It’s been flickering a lot. and I haven’t heard of any close by tornados.
thanks for asking!

I was just thinking of you! Glad to hear you are alright…losing power is the worst thing about the hurricanes, which is one reason we left Wilmington! I am so worried about my friends in Atlanta, though.

Not sure if there are any Lettuce heads in Tennessee or Kentucky or Florida…
We lost power for about 5 hours last night, but it came back on about 4:30am. Thankfully, our apt complex suffered no flooding or significant damage. There’s TONS of debris and still some standing water and flooding all over the area. I’m just staying home today. Rescue and repair crews are out trying to do their thing and tens of thousands still don’t have power, so since I do, and I’m safe, I don’t want to get in the way or take resources from those who need it.
Thanks for checking on me. We survived another one!
I’m in south central TN about 30 miles north of Huntsville, AL. Thankfully, we’ve only had light, steady rain and 40 mph wind gusts. More rain this afternoon and evening then tomorrow more clear.
Oh nice! That looks awesome! I just have a folding ikea clothes rack and I attach prints with clothespins for drying. That could be awesome for holding paintings too. I bet it could be easily attached to the wall as well
