I made this party bear for a very dear friend’s October birthday. We’ve been friends since before cassette tapes were common, but I love the retro vibe as a background and chose colors based on that.
The glasses are a lot like mine, even tho mine are black. The hat cracks me up, because otherwise the bear seems sort of serious! The balloons are on an action wobbler! The paper behind the “MAKE A WISH” is embossed with a sheet music embossing folder. You know I love some boi-oi-oi-oing on a card!
Since I had the heat embossing bin out for this card, I went ahead and used some minty green for the sentiment here.
