Postcards/Submissions for Cut + Paste magazine

I had a few reasons to make postcards this summer.

There was the postcard club in the Camp Nerd Games, the handmade postcard swap, and I wanted to make art to submit to Cut + Paste magazine, which is submitted digitally. So I decided to make that art on postcards, so I could use them in the future for that purpose also.

I recently learned about Cut + Paste magazine, and it’s such an awesome concept. It’s a publication made to be cut apart and used in other creations. It’s mostly photographs and drawings/other art and lettering, and the art is printed in such a way that the pieces don’t line up with the pictures on the other side. So the whole magazine is usable to make pieces or even frame any of the art if you really like it. Anyway! I took the opportunity that I was already making postcards anyway, and I made a few to fit the theme. Then I took pictures and sent them as submissions also (the magazine accepts stuff that has been posted elsewhere).

Magazine pieces that I have not sent out as postcards (yet):

I’m blurring these because my partners have not received them yet.
