Prairie Schooler Fall/Winter Swap Round 2 GALLERY

How fantastic they both are! How nice that you already have a collection of animal Christmas pieces…yes, they would look lovely framed all together…

The “extras” are like a swap in themselves! I always feel like @jemimah’s watercolors are a bonus and worthy of framing!

I just went through the whole thread to double-check, but it looks like we’re done, everyone has received! It was so much fun to see all the projects again. I am amazed that such simple patterns can result in such a variety of projects. I love that we all put our own twist to projects.

Thanks for swapping everyone, this has been a very low-stress swap for me as the organizer because you’ve all been great with deadlines and communication. And thanks to @gozer our mod for helping me organize my first swap in a couple of years.

Thank you @Immaculata for hosting. We always appreciate it when people help out and organize swaps!

I really enjoyed this swap…I truly have done more cross stitch than ever and I love it! I made space next to my desk for threads (I now have two floss boxes!) and supplies and have loads of patterns to try. It has become my evening relaxing routine. A cup of tea, some mystery crime series in the background, and a cute pattern! Thanks for hosting…I hope we do another one maybe in the spring!

That’s my favourite time of the day to stitch as well! It’s not the most creative of crafts, but it’s very relaxing, and after a long day of work it’s often the only type of craft I feel able to do. PS has a ton of spring-type patterns as well, or we could do a more general cross-stitch swap.

The evening is also my favorite time to stitch! I’m working on a Christmas Prairie Schooler piece atm.

Oooh which pattern?

It’s the 2012 Schooler Santa. He has a mail bag. If I finish in time, I’m going to put it in the Shop the Swap. If not, I’m sure someone in my family would want it.

I really want to do a Christmas/Santa one as well…I am still waiting on my black aida cloth to do my two pumpkins…I might start a Christmas one at the beginning of November…not a large one…I do have loads of Prairie Schooler patterns for most of the holidays!

I am thinking of doing two sheep facing each other with a holiday word in the center. I have plenty of red and green aida cloth.

That will be so cute!!

I like that Santa, with a big bag of happy mail! I would want to stitch some Christmas things as well, maybe one of those nice carol patterns that @AIMR sent me, but I’m not sure I can get it done this year. If anyone gets anything finished, please show us!

This gallery is so beautiful. I have done a few satsuma street patterns. I love her colors and designs.

I just came up with the perfect idea for another Christmas stitch in Prairie Schooler style. Both of Mr. Imma’s favourite metal singers (Ronnie James Dio and Rob Halford) have recorded versions of God rest ye merry gentlemen. That carol would go perfectly with a PS pattern.

Sounds like a good project! I just got my mustard/golden yellow cloth and now I am trying to decide if I want to do my pumpkins or a larger Halloween piece…maybe both, but I doubt I will be able to finish the larger piece in time, so maybe I will just get the pumpkins done and just start the larger piece for next year…so many patterns, too little time!

Right?? I have two patterns for my husband, a pattern for my mom, a pattern for each of my two sisters, a pattern for my friend… the list goes on.
The ones for my husband are inside jokes, I don’t expect him to hang them up.
