Recent sewing wins

Hi All

Haven’t posted in a while because I have moved house and started a new job (which I have now resigned from lol) so bit hectic here but still had some time to do some sewing.

First up: This is Live Boldy- https://charismascorner.com/…/digital-pattern-live-boldly/
The fabric is just solids I bought from Spotlight- Fabric store in Australia

Second: Spring Picnic Quilt Pattern Spring Picnic Quilt Block Tutorial (and Free Quilt Pattern) - It's Only Fabric And Thread

The fabric is Gemstone Layer Cake from Lovesewusa, bought of Etsy and Tula Pink’s fairy dust bought from Missouri Quilt

Finally: This is an Elizabeth Hartman pattern, its called Frances Firefly and its the small quilt size.
Fabric is Homecraft Textiles- Jelly roll is called Spring Blooms

This year I am counting completing the quilt top as one finished project and finishing the quilting and binding as a second finished project and it has removed a lot of pressure.

Thanks for reading.

I am a little swoony over the Boldly, myself. I am also really drawn to the 3rd one.
The 2nd one isn’t showing up for me, though.

All lovely, but the first one is my favorite. So striking! Well done. And glad to have you back!

Wow! These are each gorgeous! Love that you’re counting tops as a finished project - they are a lot of work and should be celebrated!

These are absolutely stunning. I love Boldy. It is amazing what you can do with basic solids and create such a dynamic piece. The gemstone is very pretty with a sweet, serene palette. The fireflies are wonderful. I tend to love the more modern quilts, and this one is so pretty.
I count this as a finished project. Can’t wait to see them when Phase 2 is complete!

I agree, they are 2 seperate projects

Wow, these are spectacular! I love them all, but I think the first one is my favourite - fantastic work!

These are all so super gorgeous, but the first one is definitely my favorite. So bright and beautiful!

Update:

Sent the firefly quilt off to a longarmer to finish (first time I have done paid to get it professional done, normally I just do straight lines myself) Here are the final pictures

I have been trying to work on my binding skills and I am soooo impressed with my binding this time- I did a lot of research to find out how to get better at it and I used some glue and my iron to get some crisper corners and I am sooooo happy with the outcome.
