I received my incredible package from AIMR yesterday, it’s gorgeous!
I went away to NZ for the couple of weeks before Christmas, and I realise I missed commenting on most of the fabulous things in the gallery while I was away seeing my family! So before I post my pictures -
@Lynx Such a fun package! The bracelets are really pretty.
@gozer This is an absolutely adorable bag of cuteness! You did such lovely work with those peg dolls, so sweet!
@Abbeeroad Your art pieces are fantastic! And space whiskey cat is too hilarious, I just love him.
@Kwality570 Simply gorgeous! The scrappy notebook cover and little tote are particularly lovely.
@geekgirl What a spectacular sack and contents! I especially love the cool ATC trio.
@Manders This is a purrfectly wonderful bag of treats! Your felt creations are adorable! (kittites! Krampus! lol)
@momiemae Such a beautiful festive package! The Christmas hoop is stellar!
And now to post pictures of my own wonderful surprises …
Parcels inside! and two more of the gorgeous wee birds, squee! You can see one item is a gorgeous handmade linen tea towel in the same fabric as the Santa sack - well the Santa sack is actually also a tea towel with temporary stitching. This is such a clever idea for me, I love these and I know I’ll enjoy using them. And look at that fabulous patchwork pouch
… and beautiful goodies inside the pouch, even ANOTHER parcel with a sweet birdie! It’s parcels within parcels Sweet stickers (frogs! ), notepad and a pretty magnet too…
Thank you so much Linda, everything you make is so beautiful, and you chose such thoughtful colours and themes for me. I feel very lucky, I love everything!!
@AIMR - Those birds are incredible! I absolutely adore them!!!

I am so glad the package reached you! The birds were my favorite part! I plan on making more because I also think they can be displayed year round!
The snap pouch is the first one I ever made. Not a favorite, but interesting construction! ha
I know the Santa sack is a bit unusual, but I know you make a lot of your own bags, so I thought using a linen tea towel (that I did actually cut and make from my large linen stash) would be more practical for you. I love them as they get used more and more because they soften and really dry well! USE THEM!
Hope you had a lovely visit with your family. That is what the holidays are about: making memories with family and friends! Thanks for swapping with me, friend!
I love, love that fabric!! And those bird tags are beautiful @AIMR!!

Thank you! The fabric is from a Christmas line. I bought a layer cake and some yardage, as I had plans to make so many more things…oh well, next Christmas! ha
I think the birds were from a tutorial that @magpie had linked…she links so many good ones…they were fun and pretty easy to do, especially if you like free motion machine stitching! I’ll do a separate post and put in the link!

Well, this is embarrassing…I was doing some clean up of my electronic files and found this folder of pictures…I took them and transferred them but never put them in the gallery! I apologize to both my partner, @jemimah and our organizer, @geekgirl !
Group shot…isn’t the fabric for the sacks so cute!? The card and the bookmark were an extra surprise!
Jemimah wrapped each little gift! I am going to steal this idea of using tissue paper and washi tape to keep things light! I worried about customs, but nothing was opened or torn!
A wonderful package from @jemimah! I love everything but those collage notecards are particularly inspiring. I have been playing with this technique but filling the whole card. Lightbulb moment!
