Scrappy Star Quilt

I finally finished the second quilt top sent to me by the lovely @Edel during the early days of the pandemic. I’ve had the binding on and half stitched for a few days now, and was itching to complete it.

I like how each star point is a different color, and since I bound the other Pinkstravaganza quilt in Edel-friendly pink, I decided to go with a Jennie-friendly purple binding on this one.

Check out the adorable backing fabric, with a rainbow of trinkets on it.

That is the BEST! I love how all the bitty bits of fabric are so special on their own, then together… BAM! Amazing.

You sure have a knack of pulling those quilts together nicely! I love the lighter colors highlighting the stars and of course, your purple binding…and what a find that backing is…meant to be with all of those colors!

WOW! I love the positioning of the light and dark pieces and the asymmetry. I think the purple binding looks like it was meant to be that way all along!
