With postage prices going up and up, it’s worth planning flat!
So many cute offerings!
I have my international version set done. I’m hoping to make the US ornaments tonight or tomorrow. I’ll send in my sign up when the second set is done.

Grumpy santa cats, love them!
The iridescent bits are a great touch @Tapestry. Love the expression…
So cute!
Question of the week: What type of holiday tree(s) do you plan to have this year? If none, how do you plan to display the ornaments you receive?
We always have one large tree, loaded with a hodgepodge of mismatched ornaments. For years, I insisted on a real tree. My husband finally convinced me to switch to a fake one a few years ago. I miss the scent of a real tree, but it’s now much easier to clean up, since the fake ones don’t drop as many needles!
I seem to be allergic to fir (pine? gymnosperm?) pollen, so we stopped having real trees years ago.
We have one 6-foot tall tree (green with a light flocking of white, got it at a thrift store 4 years ago). It goes in a corner, atop the coffee table to give it extra height. Thinking about it, I miss the white one we had in our last house ($3 at a rummage sale). Maybe I should hit up some rummage sales and see if I can find a replacement. The white shows up the ornaments beautifully.
I usually choose a theme for the ornaments, like “blue” or “travel”. This year’s theme will be “all these cool ornaments I got in swaps”.
We always have 3 trees: a large red & green themed tree where all the presents go, a medium family tree upstairs with all our family and custom ornaments, and my Harry Potter tree with 99% crafter made ornaments.
We have 3 fake trees. I’m allergic to the real ones. We got a wreath one year and it was too much.
One tree has a mash-up of ornaments. One has my husband’s snow babies from his childhood, and one has White House ornamenta from his parents.
If I had more room for more trees, I would have a LC tree, a tree with ornaments from our travels, and a tree with ours and our kids’ childhood ornaments.
I have a pop-up tree already decorated with red and gold ornaments, and you can’t really hang anything on it.
I display my ornaments on a bookshelf in the entryway. I hang them off the edges. It makes me happy. I can display fun ornaments and not have the fuss of taking down a tree. The putting up is fun. The taking down is not. LOL! A Pop-up tree fixed that for me.
We rarely get out our large tree, since we are often traveling to family. However, we set out small trees with ornaments and toys every year. Ornaments often get displayed on upper cabinet doors, shelves, doorways, draped garland, and wreaths depending on what seems right when decorating begins. A bit chaotic, but that’s fine.

The supply I was waiting on FINALLY arrived. Hoping to work on ornaments tonight!
Welcome to the swap, @Dfabbric!
Here is a peek at her offerings; check the Gallery for a close-up view.
Omg, those are so funny!
I’m loving the new ornaments. SOOOOO great!
Those are adorable!
My US ornaments are finished.
They’re a metal base with scrapbook paper patchwork, polymerclay “leading”, and a dimensional high gloss sealer on top to give a glass like look.
Serious question: does anyone want these or the grumpy cats because I’m 100% open to redoing my ornaments. I worry I should have made cute holiday kitties and can’t help but focus on the tiny flaws in my heart ornaments. I could easily repaint the cats. And just make something different for my US ornaments.
These are gorgeous! And for what it’s worth (as a potential international participant who hasn’t signed up yet due to general time management…ahem), I freaking love the Christmas kitties!
