Small Batch Ornament Match Swap CLOSED (Send Nov 1-11)

I have the 6 houses almost exactly the same, and then two round window houses, and the teensy tiny house, should someone want one of them instead.

I didnt look at this swap at first, but had a look the other day and felt “Why didnt I look earlier?! I wanna join!” This looks so fun and nice! I hope I can participate in one further on.

…And we are now officially closed!

Everyone’s ornaments turned out so well! Not sure how I’m going to figure out how to rank them, but that is the next step. (Update: I did actually resort to rolling dice!)

Get your wish lists sent as soon as you can.
They are due by Oct 27 at the latest, but if everyone gets them turned in earlier, we can move on to the partnering/ matching process sooner.
:crossed_fingers:

We do have one international swapper! @Dfabbric is Canadian; so glad to have someone outside the US participating.

Camelama joined us and says the house ornaments are available for international shipping (I had that wrong in the gallery but corrected it.)

Any questions? Please speak up! If you are wondering about something, someone else is probably wondering the same thing.

Worked on matching most of the day, and I’m finally done! Things seemed to work well. Everyone should get at least two of their top three choices, and at least three of their top five.

I just posted a tentative list of partners. Don’t send yet! But please check over the list to make sure there are no obvious errors. Things are arranged alphabetically to make it easier to double-check things. Please send me a message if anything needs correction, or if you have any questions.

After a day or two, I’ll finalize everything and send out addresses.

I didn’t spot any obvious issues. Excited for send outs! Thank you for ornament wrangling! I can’t imagine that was easy.

Time for send-outs! While you technically have until November 11 to ship, go ahead and send as soon as you can. Some international shipments may take a long time, and it would be great if everyone could have their ornaments in time for the holidays.

Question of the week: Did you participate in the “Sweat Shoppe Ornament Swap” on the old site? Feel free to post pictures of ornaments from the old swap!

I caught the swap once in its prior form — the very last round of it. I sent very retro ornaments; elves in weird poses with bottlebrush trees, framed in a vintage star-shaped baking tin. Thought I had a picture but can’t find it, so maybe not…

I have one of those ornaments from you from that swap! Our Christmas stuff isn’t out yet, so no pictures, but they are cute! (Yes, I participated in that swap at least 3 times - maybe more.)

I have all my ornaments packaged and ready to ship. I made the bases a few years ago from Plaster of Paris and then painted them this year. I bought small tins to ship them in to hopefully keep them safe and secure.

I’m hoping to get Mr. Lynx and GB to ship them for me on Friday. I miss PO hours with my job and the roads I take to get there.

I’m pondering the best way to ship mine, but I hope to mail out very soon.

I never participated with the previous rounds on thr old site, but I sure am excited to get mine sent out and received for this round.

I participated at least once on the old site, but I can’t remember what I made. My memory is terrible and I don’t have pics of all my previous crafts. Trying to be better about that.

I’ve got the ornaments pacakaged up and should be ready to send tomorrow morning.
