They’re finally done! I used the same pattern as for these shorts:
A little therapy sewing, trying out a pajama shorts pattern from a blog…
They ended up a bit wide and had a strange flare that some shorts have on people with wider hips, so I elasticised the hem a bit. I think they turned out pretty cute, just in time for much warmer evenings.

I considered adding a pocket, but I fear that will just end in my shorts falling down as soon as I put something in the pocket.
I tried a new technique for the leg hem elastic, sewing it on wit…
I extended the legs down to be full length but probably should’ve tapered them more. They are flowy-legged! But that’s ok. My machine kinda threw up a bit in the hem stitch so I covered it with purple trim and now they’re lovely!

I like the use of the print with the solid! It is a style I like the best!
Sewing allows for so much individual creativity. The purple trim is a nice touch.

I like the purple trim. It adds a cool touch to them. I also like flowy pants. They look extra comfy.
