My new character for Renn Faire is Magic Item Foster Mom. So I cart around magic items looking for homes and attempt to pass them on. Spellbooks are perfect for this, so I needed to get some ready.
I did some basic small ones with a bit added to covers:
Then one bigger one with some 3d cutouts decoupaged to the cover:
I’m still trying to decide if they should be pre-loaded with a starter spell.

Maybe you folks can help me with a dilemma. I’m going to make a sign to try to pass on my magic items. I’m struggling with the text.
“Magic Items - Ask me to adpot!”
“Magic Fostering - Adopt today!”
“Magic Items in need of home!”
How do I let folks know to ask me?
I would go with 2 or 3. I think 1 could be misinterpreted as “Ask me to adopt your magical items.”
