Here are the dates unless there needs to be changes, but I think this works. I will be away for a few weeks in October, but I should be able to bring my laptop with me so I don’t forsee it being too much of an issue.
signups start: Sept 9
signups close: September 30 @ 9p MST
over/under week is: Oct 28-Nov 4
last day possible after over/under week is: Nov 11

The suggestion is no joke, but I think most people craft while the swap is in progress. There is a longer window this year between when the swap starts and when your shop has to be up.

I saw this news today:
“The United States Postal Service (USPS) is implementing temporary holiday surcharges on various package services during the 2025 peak holiday season, according to FreightWaves, IndexBox, and the USPS itself. These surcharges are scheduled to be in effect from October 5, 2025, to January 18, 2026 .”
This will need to be factored in with your budgeted shipping.
I don’t know why October is considered “peak season” and I doubt that these are “temporary.” I remember the prices that went up temporarily during COVID. Oh, that’s because they never went back down.
