Stumpwork blossom

Using @sheepBlue’s excellent stumpwork tutorial, I tried a multi-layer flower.

It’s far from perfect but I really enjoyed making it and I learned so much for future projects.

Thanks all. I was happy with the result but see lots of room for improvement. The colour transitions, completely filling the space so no background shows through. I’ve seen edgeing that’s almost like a buttonhole stitch too, very nice finish.
I’ve got a subscription to Inspirations embroidery magazine, it’s very high level work. I’ll keep trying & improving :slightly_smiling_face:
