Pop Rocks? Those do that. Zotz kind of excretes the sour juice from the center once you’ve sucked on it enough. Would you want to try some? My local candy shop here sells them. I could mail you some

I love Zots! And I do find the centers to be a little fizzy, myself. Not exploding, just fizzy😉
