It looks like I’m the first one to receive, and I received such an amazing swap package from @Silky_Bee . She asked for a picture of my bike and let me pick a colour scheme, plus she’s shown pictures here of her own bike-related crafts, so I had some idea of what she was working on. But I was still blown away by what she made!
She made a pannier bag for my bike! It’s huge, and it can be taken off and used both as a backpack and as a tote. The fabric is waterproof and every time I look at it I discover new features. It’s a super practical design.

As for the German thing, she sent me this watercolour and embroidery hoopla of a German beach scene. It depicts a Strandkorb, a wicker beach chair that’s very typically German. I’ve heard of them but not seen them in real life. We don’t have them here in the Netherlands. I wish we had - due to medication I’m extremely sensitive to the sun so I have to stay in the shadow. I can picture myself in a Strandkorb with a good book!
And then she included these German sweets! That bag of UFOs was way fuller when it arrived, I don’t know what happened 
I stitched a beach scene myself last year and I never got around to framing it, but I think I need to hurry up now so I can hang them together. Thank you so much @Silky_Bee !!

The bag is fantastic! Practical and such pretty colors!
The beach scene is restful. We have comfy outdoor chairs like that here…definitely great for reading or hanging by the pool but not in the sun (I am also sun sensitive). Finish your scene…both together will be lovely!

I think the chair is woven from embroidery thread, the seat is made from fabric. A very interesting technique. The real chairs are woven from wicker like a basket.

WOW! I just expanded the picture and saw the chair up close! That is one to put in my notes to try! The weaving is fantastic on the chair!

Love the bag( I need to make something similar for my niece). Different textures work really well with the theme of your hoopla. Awesome start to the gallery.
Today I got a note in my mailbox telling me that I can pick up my package. Apparently it has been in the post office since monday without anyone contacting me.

I received my package from Edel today, and she absolutely nailed it.
For summer in Ireland, she made a lovely colourful mug rug that’s perfect for the season. I love sitting outside with a nice cup of tea
From my wishlist, she made a belt pouch. It’s perfectly sized, feels really sturdy, and I love all the little details and bits and bobs she added to it.

As an extra surprise, she included a beautiful pair of earrings, which I’ll definitely be wearing to work tomorrow.

Yes they are nibs, from some that @jemimah sent me.
And the raven is a lino cut from a few years ago, this was my first time making a belt pouch and my first time using pleather. So I’m happy with how it turned out.
