That looks great Abbie! I’m kicking myself for biffing the side detail. Oh well.
Have you worn yours yet?? How do you like it?
I’m actually a half an inch over on the length but I’m not frogging again!
It looks great! You guys are kicking the sweater-along!
No not yet, it hasn’t gotten warm enough for tank wearing quite yet. I’ll try to get an action picture today. I definitely went longer than the pattern says - cropped doesn’t really suit me.
I like how it turned out. The sides aren’t even too bad considering. (Forgive the gross bathroom mirror)
What a versatile piece! The detail on the front is really beautiful!
I love it! It looks like it fits sooo good! I’m eager to finish mine.
That’s lovely! The design detail is so stylish, it’s a great piece!
Thanks everyone I’m excited to start wearing it just in time for warmer weather.
I’ve stalled a little on my tank but heading to knit/crochet night at my local library tonight so hopefully I’ll have progress to share later!
I took a break from my cardigan to knit some shorty socks at the request of DS2. But, I’m back to it this week, still on sleeve #1.
I have just been so distracted lately, and haven’t had much energy for anything. Our remodel is on to the kitchen, and not having a kitchen is so stressful. To top it off, I had a toenail removed Friday and can’t stand to be on my feet for very long…stuck on the sofa and bored out of my mind…at least for another day or three.
Ouch! hope you heal up quickly!!
We are doing a shorty sockalong, if you want to join in…I am casting on this weekend.
You have so much going on to have a bad toe on top of everything else! Hang in there…and take time to decompress with some knitting!
Oh, that’s right! This pair just needs the ends woven in. But, casting on another pair would be fun.
Tonight’s progress:
It was really fun to chat with other crafty folks in person! I will be going back.
Ooh a regular in-person craft group sounds amazing!
I’ve been on a small knitting hiatus since I overdid it a little bit last week, and then was wrestling with moving an old couch/assembling the new one. I may let myself dip a toe back in this weekend. I started on a more generic tank striping my leftover black yarns. Somehow I still have enough leftover from the last sweater for this haha.
I was worried I would mess up with the distraction of chatting with others but miraculously managed not to. The dedicated time to work on a project is nice.
Today’s progress:
I just have to repeat on the back and attach the straps…and block of course. I’m hoping all those loose looking stitches blend in a bit better post blocking.
Hope you are back up and knitting soon, Em! And I hope you love the new couch. Guess you got the missing boxes then?
Yes! Thankfully either Fedex or the neighbors that received our mis-delivered couch pieces delivered it on Sunday. So crazy. We’ve only assembled 2/3 of the couch (just in case we decide we wanted to return some pieces, we didn’t want to put out the full thing). But I think we’re pretty happy with it, so will be unpacking the rest of it this weekend.
And more knitting
Nice!
