Aquaboard is an archival panel that has a special treated clay on it which absorbs watercolor well and acts very close to watercolor paper. I’ve only used mine for gouache, and it’s perfect for that. It’s super sturdy, takes a ton or paint and water well, and is museum quality and ready to frame.
Ooh, I love this! You did such a nice job on the illumination aspect. The subtle glow on the tree trunk and the leaves above give such a feeling of warm light.
