True patriot love, now in a convenient hoop format

I originally posted this over in the Stitchalong, but I know not everyone checks that thread (if you haven’t yet, join us! We’re super-fun!). Although weelittlestitches no longer has an online shop, their blog remains available. I had found this free pattern originally posted to celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial, but thought it would make a nifty Canada Day decoration as well.

I used 16-count fabric (or 6.4 if you’re using metric!), and it fit pretty much perfectly in a 5" hoop…or, 12.7 cm. My elementary-school math teacher would be so proud of me right now.

Thanks for looking, and Happy Canada Day to those who celebrate! :canada:

All right! Thank you!

So cute!!! I might need to make this pattern for my parents. They have lived in the States for over 30 years but still also celebrate Canada Day!!
